Life is crazy...

So, obviously I'm not the best blogger haha. I really honestly don't know where the time has gone! Between Grant and his schedules, Melvin and his work and work related trips, my work, church callings, family, etc. Things are just nuts! But I still love it. Grant is hilarious. He's six and a half months old and his favorite things are his feet, gurgling his spit so he sounds like the lion off "The Wizard of Oz", growling, rice cereal, pulling hair, peekaboo, and standing up. He is the best. I'll post a bunch of pictures to get caught up again...haha!! I'll be better!!

Happy Halloween!

Favorite.Sound.Ever.

Grant has been smiling for a while now but in the last week or so he has began to really giggle! It is my favorite sound in the world! It just makes me laugh so hard! We caught a laughing spell on camera, so enjoy :)

5 MONTHS OLD!

     It's hard to believe, but Grant is 5 months old! Sometimes it feels like it's only been a blink of an eye! It's hard to remember what life was like without him. But as he grows older and more into a person I just love him more and more! He loves to show his tricks which include kicking his legs sporadically, standing up while we just hold him a little for balance, gurgling, he'll roll over but only on his terms, and he's starting to try to roll over from back to belly. He loves bath time! It's hard to tell who loves it more though, Grant or his Daddy! Melvin is "super bather!" And loves to spend time with his son no matter what they're doing.
     Grant has a very dramatic and heart breaking cry. Sometimes I just like watching him because he looks so gosh darn cute! But other times it's very loud and crazy, as most of you have heard when he's hungry.
     I am in love with his bright eyes, his dark dramatic lashes, his kissable chubby cheeks, and his smile. Although some days I am easily frustrated and stressed out, he can give one smile, or coo, or touch my face with his sweet little hand and my heart melts. He is a heavenly gift.

I have finally succumbed....

     So for forever now, everyone has been trying to talk me in to getting a blog. I never thought I'd be the blogging type. But now that I'm a mommy, and most times I'm trapped in my house while the booger is napping, eating, etc. I think it's time to at least give it a try.
      Now I'm thinking this wasn't such a good idea since it's almost 1 p.m. and I'm still unshowered, in my pajamas, and haven't left the computer chair for a couple hours now.
     Oh yeah and just for clarification...the "we're lovin' it" at the top of the blog is in reference to McDonalds (I'm lovin' it slogan). It was my attempt to be cute like all the other blogs I've seen. As some of you know, Melvin is a supervisor for 2 McDonalds. I feel like our life is McDonalds. We are constantly trying to work towards Melvin becoming an owner/operator of his own stores, I work for the company doing office work among other things, and we are found eating McDonalds for dinner, snacks, or just whenever wayyy more than I'd like to admit. But in all actuality, we are lovin it. Loving this stage of life where we are still semi newly married (2 years), and have this adorable, fun, and dramatic little baby! Life is good.

     But anyway, I'm excited to start blogging! So here are a couple pictures to get us caught up...
